WebI think he's the best designed lair boss, very close to a lot of the good DD1 area bosses. Very simple mechanics, but hard to approach. I beat him first try on second region with Jester, Occultist, Leper, and Hellion, but had a couple of close calls with Occultist's health. Overall, pretty scary and good fun. WebThe damage bonus is only to corpses (dead enemies), not cadavers (enemy type). But the real power of the General's Dream is in a party that doesn't want to change positions and gets wrecked by shuffles. The perma immobilization prevents enemy abilities from shuffling you, which can be a huge bonus. I want Dismas in rank one with Point blank shot.

Instead you get a choice of a few at the start of a run, and have to make do until you fail or … WebManaged to kill with the initial party with a ~75% health 1-2 stress at the start. completely ruined the run though. Two meltdowns, two at 9 stress. The encounter has everything. It incapacitates your heroes, it builds enormous stress and it deals lots of damage. and a 50% death blow resist is kinda absurd.
