WebHoi4 is more of a WW2 sandbox. It’s more about alternative history. Hoi3 is very micro intensive. Each division gets a leader with their own skills and experience. There is a feature where you can paint a target and wait but it’s less than useful. Hoi4 the only leaders are for armies and army groups. WebHoI4 has a lot of neat ideas like national focuses and its production system, but it is all built off of horribly boring land combat compounded by horrifically bad AI (both the enemy nations' and your own generals').
