Webb26 maj 2024 · A codeword is a message followed by its CRC. Each of those codewords is 384 bits long. Since the CRC is 10 bits, they are 374-bit messages. Therefore to calculate the CRC, you need to be able to do that calculation on a number of bits that is not a multiple of eight. Then you append the 10-bit CRC.
